Description

BREEZING UP is a fully found, lovingly maintained offshore equipped J-46, recently repainted with  a new Leisure furl boom. Designed by Rod Johnstone,  she is prepared to  sail offshore in comfort and safety. She has raced 7 Newport Bermuda races without incident, placing on the podium 6 times, first in  class twice.

Accommodations

She has a private forward cabin forward with ensuite head and terrific shower.  Aft the has a large quarter berth with standing headroom, with another head opposite the companionway.  She has two larges setee berths as well as a polit berth on the port side.

Galley

The galley is to port and the nav station is to starboard; forward is a portside settee and dining area with a single berth opposite..

U-shaped counter with double sink and large storage areas;  3-burner stove with oven, gimbled, safety rail and strap; hot and cold pressure water; 12 volt air cooled  freezer and refrigeration. Salt water and fresh water foot pumps. Lots of storage.

Cockpit

Fiberglass cockpit withLarge dodger and fixes bimini over helm.  Full headroom under it. Great visibility from the wheel even with the awning up! Edson steering with chain to wire to quadrant. AT the wheel Garmin chart plotter and radar

Electrical

12 volt battery system with 4 210 gel cell12 volt batteries provides a huge capacity which was designed for offshore cruising. Excessive power consumption is therefore not a worry for the coastal cruiser and it will not be necessary under normal circumstances to run the engine to charge the batteries while in port. BREEZING UP  has 12 volt LED lighting in cabin and engine room; 12 volt 3700 gph automatic bilge pump with override; also deck lights,  solar panels,  whale on deck pump, Mastervolt  Interface Link  battery monitoring system. With 2500 Mastervolt inverter, 120 volt power is also available throughout the boat so you can keep your computers and cell phones charged.

Mechanical

Yanmar 4 cylinder 75 HP diesel. . Fuel injection pump re-built in 2018. New starter motor 2016. Spare oil and fuel filters on board.

Hull & Deck

Newly Algripped white topsides with a molded gold boot stripe and blue water line stripe; blue bottom coat. . Brightwork in very good condition..

Spade rudder with new bearings and chain and cable.  Three bladed Max prop with pot cutter.  Sailors must be careful not to catch pots on the rubber.  Swim gear available if needed.  I suggest helm person aided by pot watcher who can sit comfortably high and aft of the helm.
