Accommodates up most comfortably for a family of 4 the next comfort level is 6. 

The interior is full Varnished  teak with an Varnished Holly and teak cabin sole.

Forward is a 6’3” L 6'-6"at widest V berth with filler to form a double, below there is storage. In the forward  birth area there are port and starboard lockers which are typically shared. There is also a door for privacy.

Next is the main cabin with settee berths on port and starboard with storage behind the seat backs and in lockers and shelves above. There are also two pilot berths.

 Aft of the starboard settee berth is the wet locker and aft of the wet locker is the enclosed head with ensuite handheld shower and sump pump and vanity with stainless steel sink and hot and cold pressure water. The toilet is a new electric Raritan Elegance with a nice elongated seat.

Opposite to starboard is the L shaped galley with gimbaled 3 burner propane stove with oven, and a double basin stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a large ice box with a brand new Sea Frost dc refrigeration unit, and custom shelving with frozen section refrigerated section divider. There is good storage and counter space. Since I love to cook the galley is fully outfitted with dishes, pots and pans, and silverware, high quality chefs knives, cooking utensils, SS french press, plates, bowls, coffee cups, wine glasses, cocktail glasses, wine vacuum pump/stopper, cutting board as well as a spices. We have had some incredible meals and moments on Indigo.

Next is the aft cabin with dual quarter berths, a single to port and a twin to starboard( This is where my wife and I sleep when we are alone or with family and friends).  There is the central positioned navigation station, facing forward, and electrical distribution panels.

There are 3 Dorade ventilators, two large opening overhead hatches and 8 (4 operable) side ports. Mosquito screens are frame and fit into the companionway slides and weighted screens that drop over opened hatch openings. 



Indigo has two companion ways, similar to Nautor's Swans of that era, with Comfortable seating/cushions for  all with bench seats on port and starboard and a curved seat in the stern for helm. Engine controls, gauges, and switches. Navigation light switches, hydraulic controls vang/backstay/outhaul, binnacle compass, hot/cold handheld shower, instruments, chartplotter, drink holder, and forward and aft cockpit collapsible dodgers.


AC power

30amp/120v shore power feeds an new Victron inverter/charger that charges the DC Plant when connected to shore power and provide 120V provides power to outlets in the galley and aft stateroom and water heater. When disconnected from shore power the inverter provides 120V power to outlets in the galley and aft cabin.

DC power.

The heart of the DC plant consist of two lifeline 8D AGM 255 amphour each, 510 total amp-hour battery(new in 2016), and the lifeline AGM starting battery new in 2015. The battery bank(s) serves all the dc loads and ac loads(via the inverter). While under motor the new 165 amp Balmar alternator, regulated by the Balmar max charge mc 612 regulator charges the battery (s) via the Balmar duo charger.

Sails and Rigging

Aluminum keel stepped mast with solid stainless steel rod rigging inspected last year by Maloney Marine Rigging service.

·         "Quantum" cruising main with 4 reef points, two lower preloaded with reef lines, upper two with reef travelers. Main is fully battened with Harken Batt-car system, with new roller bearings installed 2016. Main comes with a  Quantum captive lazy jack sail cover system which makes cruising a dream.

·         Mainsheet is  a double ended system that can be trimmed on port or starboard sides and allows the traveler car to move easily.

·         Cruising jib on Harken roller furling system easily controlled from cockpit.

Hand laminated hull and deck are of sandwich construction and special attention has been paid to hull strength and rigidity. Top side painted with Flag Blue Awl Grip 2011, bottom epoxy barrier coat in 2011, and sanded/painted annually with Yellow Pettit Vivid bottom paint.

Deck is finished with teak that is in situ, babied, and maintained by a  master marine carpenter, Polyblank.
