Accommodations
After a day on the water, there’s nothing better than settling in down below on Athena. Berths accommodate individuals up to 6’2” with the port bunk expanding to a cozy double and the starboard side bunk is a single. Personal items can be stored behind the back rests on both sides which can be raised and locked in for greater width or personal items can be stored on the shelves above each berth. Portholes have screens for good air flow and a hatch has a removable mosquito screen. For sleeping in late, shipshades can be pulled down.
Moving forward, the private head is on portside with a single basin sink to starboard. A sun shower is stored in the head and should be warmed up and used on deck.
The forward cabin offers comfortable sleeping in the v-berth with a filler platform. Below the platform are drawers and cubby holes for personal items. Two portholes with screens offer good ventilation along with a hatch with removable mosquito netting and a fan.
A large pull down table on portside makes seating four for dinner possible along with plenty of room for pre bed time scrabble or card games.
